Welcome to the start of another fantastic school year! I am honored to continue serving as your principal.

Reflecting on this past year, I learned so much alongside our wonderful students, dedicated staff, and supportive families. Moving into this new school year, our staff and I feel completely rejuvenated, re-energized, and thrilled to welcome everyone back into our building!

I am also excited to continue working closely with our Assistant Principal, Mrs. Simone. The two of us work exceptionally well together as a leadership team, and we are fully committed to driving academic success for every single student at MLK. We have a lot of exciting things planned for this year to keep building a vibrant, encouraging, and engaging learning environment.

To our MLK Scholars: Bring your curiosity, your smiles, and your biggest goals this year! I truly cannot wait to see you walk through our doors and watch you shine.

Dear MLK Elementary School Families,

Welcome to the start of a wonderful new school year! I am absolutely thrilled to be returning for my third year as your Assistant Principal.

When I first chose MLK Elementary, it was because of the incredible community that defines this building—our amazing students, dedicated teachers and staff, and supportive families. Over the past two years, you have extended so much warmth and partnership to me, and I am deeply grateful for that support as we step into another fantastic year together.

There is a unique joy in the daily rhythm of our school, and there are a few things I look forward to the most:

• Our Students: Watching them walk through our doors every morning with bright smiles, happy and ready to learn, is the absolute best start to any day.

• Our Teachers: It is a privilege to watch our educators teach and pour love into their students each and every day, creating a safe and inspiring space for growth.

• Our Support Staff: From our secretaries and custodians to all of our auxiliary staff, I am constantly in awe of how hard they work behind the scenes to make our school the absolute best it can be.

Mr. Jadue and I are honored to continue our partnership in leading this incredible building. Together, we are fully committed to guiding all of our students toward successful academic performances across reading, math, science, and social studies.

¡Hola familia y amigos de MLK!

¡Bienvenidos al comienzo de otro fantástico año escolar! Es un honor para mí continuar sirviendo como su director.

Al reflexionar sobre el año pasado, aprendí muchísimo junto a nuestros increíbles estudiantes, nuestro dedicado personal y nuestras familias que tanto nos apoyan. Al iniciar este nuevo año escolar, todo nuestro personal y yo nos sentimos completamente renovados, llenos de energía y muy entusiasmados de darles la bienvenida de nuevo a nuestro edificio.

También me emociona mucho seguir trabajando en estrecha colaboración con nuestra subdirectora, la Sra. Simone. Ambos nos entendemos excepcionalmente bien como equipo de liderazgo y estamos totalmente comprometidos a impulsar el éxito académico de cada uno de nuestros estudiantes en MLK. Tenemos muchas cosas emocionantes planeadas para este año para continuar construyendo un ambiente de aprendizaje vibrante, motivador y positivo.

Estimadas familias de la Escuela Primaria MLK:

¡Bienvenidos al inicio de un maravilloso nuevo año escolar! Estoy absolutamente encantada de regresar por tercer año consecutivo como su subdirectora.

Cuando elegí por primera vez la Escuela Primaria MLK, fue por la increíble comunidad que define este edificio: nuestros maravillosos estudiantes, nuestros dedicados maestros y personal, y nuestras familias que siempre nos apoyan. Durante los últimos dos años, me han brindado tanto cariño y colaboración, y estoy profundamente agradecida por ese apoyo al iniciar juntos otro año fantástico.

Hay una alegría única en el ritmo diario de nuestra escuela, y hay algunas cosas que espero con más entusiasmo:

• Nuestros estudiantes: Verlos cruzar nuestras puertas cada mañana con sonrisas radiantes, felices y listos para aprender, es definitivamente el mejor comienzo para cualquier día.

• Nuestros maestros: Es un privilegio ver a nuestros educadores enseñar y brindar amor a sus estudiantes todos los días, creando un espacio seguro e inspirador para el crecimiento.

• Nuestro personal de apoyo: Desde nuestras secretarias y personal de limpieza hasta todo nuestro personal auxiliar, constantemente me impresiona lo duro que trabajan detrás de escena para lograr que nuestra escuela sea lo mejor posible.

El Sr. Jadue y yo estamos honrados de continuar nuestra colaboración al liderar este increíble edificio. Juntos, estamos totalmente comprometidos a guiar a todos nuestros estudiantes hacia un rendimiento académico exitoso en lectura, matemáticas, ciencias y estudios sociales.
