Six YCSD employees were recognized as Harambee
Heroes at the February 18 Community Wellness
Resource Event called Rope of Hope—The Responders,
The Rescue, The Relief. The award honors a person's
commitment to scholars, education, and leadership
and for representing the meaning of Harambee,
defined as "all pull together." Congratulations to
Jeremy Batchelor (not pictured), Dr. Michael Saville,
Carmelo Lebron, Debra Caffey, Sharon King, and
Tiffaney Trella for being named HARAMBEE HEROES!
