Resources

In an effort to support our literacy framework, Martin Luther King Staff has teamed with the Public Library in a program to provide opportunities for our children to have access to books as much as possible. The Public Library will be here on Thursdays to have k to 3rd grade check out 2 books about every month. They will also give students a public library card to use when the program ends (in March). Please feel free to contact the school.

In efforts to help give extra support to our students, we have foster grandparents in some classrooms. The grandparents are there to give extra support in math, language arts, science, social studies and word study. They help assist the classroom teacher by small group instruction. The grandparents help share their compassion and experience to our students!!
