MLK Spotlights

In this tab you will find the wonderful things that the scholars and the staff at MLK do! From educationally fun projects, to field trips, and much more!

Check out MLK's "Thankful Hands" bulletin board! It was a school wide art project where every scholar traced their hand and wrote what they are thankful for. Thank you to our art teacher, Ms. Volenik, for bringing this project to life!

Nonviolence was celebrated at MLK! We wore purple to symbolize peace. Students spent their recess chalking the walk with peaceful drawings and sayings. Later, we had a school wide parade where students showed off their nonviolent artwork!
